Grants Specialist
Jacky Fan serves as a Grant Specialist at the Bay Area UASI. His responsibilities include ensuring compliance with complex Homeland Security Grant and city contracting requirements. Additionally, he is responsible for processing and reconciling grant accounting transactions and managing accounting records.
He holds both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Accounting from San Francisco State University (SFSU). During his graduate studies, he started in the Fiscal Affairs department at SFSU, focusing on fixed assets. Subsequently, he joined Withum, a midsize accounting firm, focusing on audit services. After obtaining his CA CPA license, he transitioned to the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission as a Water Enterprise Fund Accountant, specializing in accounting operations, before moving to his current role at UASI.
Outside of work, Jacky enjoys going to auto track events, skiing, and playing badminton.
